Mission Statement
SeniorNet Sarasota is a 501 (c)3
non-profit organization of computer using adults, age 50 and older.
Our mission is to provide older adults, residing in
Sarasota and Manatee counties, education for and access to computer
technologies, to enhance their lives and enable them to share their
knowledge and wisdom in a friendly non-intimidating environment.
SeniorNet
Sarasota (SNS) is an all-volunteer organization. Our volunteers come
from the private and public sectors. They are business people,
teachers, and homemakers. They come to share their expertise, to
make a contribution to the community, to meet new people and be part
of the team, or to learn new skills. The reasons for volunteering
are as varied as the people who volunteer. What is certain is that
each volunteer will make a positive contribution to the success of
the SeniorNet Learning Center. |
