The Introduction to Computers
course is an eight week class that teaches the fundamentals of a personal
computer using Microsoft Windows Vista Business and Word 2007. It provides hands-on
training in the use of a mouse and the skills necessary to use
Windows. No prior experience is required. The course is designed to
help make the student feel comfortable using a computer. It also
covers how a computer works. Buying tips are included for those

Students learn the operations of
Microsoft Windows Vista. The course covers how to use
Microsoft Office 2007 and Word 2007. Also
covered is use of the Internet to search the web and send e-mail.

productively at home.
